Loki's Wolves

Hey everyone Anushka here, so this post  is kind of like a book report I did in class on "Loki's wolves"  and I am quite proud of my this port. And  yes this is first my book report! Enjoy!

APPETIZERS
How did the cover art prepare you for the story? Describe it? Was the illustration accurate? :
The cover shows a boy and a girl at the right side of the cover. They seem to be standing in a yellow patch of light. The girl is holding a stick while the boy is holding a shield. From the way they are positioned they are standing to defend their selves. On the left side of the book there are black mean furious wolves that seem to be attacking the children. The wolves are standing in a black background. The name of the author is printed I small on the top of the book. While the title of the book I the largest,   it is printed in front of a golden crown on the right center is a quote on Norse mythology. On the bottom of the book there is a subtitle that says “THE BLACKWELL PAGES’’ from reading this I assume it must be a series. This tells me that the book is connected to wolves and Norse mythology and royalty.
Why do you think the author chose this book’s title? Would you have chosen the same title? Explain your answer: Yes I would have chosen the title “Loki’s Wolves because the book has a very strong connection with wolves even though its on saving the world, but in the book all the history and information is connected to wolves.
What was the novel’s setting? Describe it? :
The novels set in planed Earth in the modern period, the story starts of in a small town called BLACKWELL.
How did the first pages of the book grab your attention and make you want to keep reading? :

What grabbed my attention was when Matt the main character if the book would explain whenever he would get angry his amulet which was in a shape of a hammer would vibrate and glow, more over shooting thunder bolts from his hands.
MAIN DISHES:
What was the problem in the story that the characters tried to solve? How did they solve it? :
The problem the characters had to solve was to stop an evil serpent from waking up to cause Ragnarok, the end of the world.
To solve the problem, Matt and his had to get the shield and hammer of Thor.
What was the most important part in the story? :
The most important part event in the book “Loki’s wolves” was reuniting the descendants of the Norse Gods who would be the chosen ones the fight in the final battle stop Ragnarok.
Why did you choose it as your most important? :
I chose this as my most important evet because in the book because one this was the main reason Matt ran away from home to reunite the Norse Gods to stop Ragnarok, and the goal and point of the whole  book.
Does your novel teach a moral or lesson? :
Yes the lesson in the novel teaches us that team work is a very important skill.
What is that lesson and how does the book teach? :
The lesson the book teaches us is teamwork, this lesson gets taught threw out the book but mostly when Matt becomes the leader by reunited the descends of the God’s, Matt automatically becomes the leader because he is able to take lead even in the toughest solutions. Even with fen, who is Matts’s greatest challenge to agree with because in the Norse mythologies Thor and Loki are enemy’s but Matt always finds a way to get his way and the fen’s idea.
What is the climax in the story? :
The climax in the story was when Matt and his friends fight Skull their enemy to get the shield of Thor.
Why is this climax important to the story? :
This climax is important to the story because to save the world Matt and his friends must defeat skull then only they can get the shield of Thor which was their main goal in the book.
SIDE DISHES:
If you were able to meet one of the characters, what would you talk about? Why? : If I were able to meet one of the characters from “Loki’s Wolf’s” I would love to meet Baldwin. Baldwin, just like Matt is also one of the main characters from the book. Baldwin has a special power that allows him to not feel pain or get injured. In the book Baldwin loves to skateboard. So I love to talk to him about skateboarding because I am also interested in skateboarding.
Is there an event in this book that reminds you of something that happened to you? Compare and contrast those two events. :
Yes there is an event in the book that dose remind me of some kind of event like that. In the book Fen is very close and very protective to his sister Laurie.  This reminds me of the time when my cousin sister came to Canada, I do admit that I was quite protective of who she talked to or tried to talked to her. Seeing Fen being over proactive over Laurie I would totally understand how Fen feels.
If you could choose one character you are most like, who would it be and why? : If I could choose one character I am most like I would choose Reyna. I would pick Reyna, I would choose her because she is one of the quit characters in the book and she is very smart and she would never let down a challenge to a battle or a fight. I think she is very similar to me because she and I are quite people, smart and would NEVER let down a challenge to anything. That’s why I think that we are quite similar.
If you were the author, would you have ended the same way, or would you end it differently? How would you end it? Why? :
If I were the author and were able to change one part of the story I would change the part when Matt and his friends meet Baldwin. In the book one of Matt’s opens a portal which leads to reptile garden, where they meet Baldwin. I would change part because it’s too casual of a meeting, I would rather have them have dramatic entrance where Matt and his friends would rescue Baldwin from Skull their enemy.
What three questions would you have ask the author if you could him or her? Why? :
The three questions I would ask the author would:
1.     What encouraged you to write this?
2.     Why did you write on Norse mythology?
3.     Would you want to add more information to your book?
Would you recommend this book to your best friend? Why or why not? :
Yes I would definitely recommend this book to my best friend, I would do this because I love the way the book fills my hunger for an epic battle, and the book gives you an interesting facts on Norse mythology and at times its funny, it also makes you hold your breath while reading because it can be intense and will not let you put the book down.
How does this book rank compared to all the books you have red before? Is it stronger or weaker? Explain why. :

This book ranks to a 9.5 out of 10, and is stronger because the author describes the story in detail. The Norse mythology makes it extremely interesting and the action in the book is fasted passed helping you stay interested.

Comparing FNAF 1 and 2

Hey everyone! Anushka here with another post! Have you ever herd of  Five Nights at Freddy's? Well if you don't know what it is you should check it out! Have a great day!

Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 and 2

For my comparison I will be comparing Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 and 2. If you don’t know what Five Nights at Freddy’s is it’s an indie point –and- click survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon. The goal is for the player to survive at Freddy Fazbear’s pizza while avoiding getting caught and killed by the animatronics characters and tracking their movements by looking into the restaurants security cameras. The player must survive their shift, lasting midnight to 6:00 a.m. (approximately 8 minutes and 36 seconds of real time,4 minutes and 3 seconds on the mobile and tablet editions), without being attacked by one of the animatronics animal robots roaming the facility.
My first reason for why these two games are so similar is that while playing the game you have a camera that allows you to check the room for animatronics close by. I find this very similar because in FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy’s) 1 and 2 you are given cameras that have the same background.
My second reason is in FNAF 1 and 2 all the characters are included, mainly the characters of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. They also share the same actions which are to attack the player. In the game some characters show a pattern by appearing and disappearing. FNAF 1 and 2 share the same patterns. In the FNAF 1 I noticed that Freddy always leaves last in the game, it’s the same pattern in part 2.
My third reason is when you play FNAF 1 and 2 you have to survive six nights. When you survive each night the game gets harder, which means you would have to check the cameras more, which would leads to loss in battery power.
Lastly, in both the games the rooms share a common name although they are in different areas. The characters are the same but have a new look with different features. This makes the second game a little different from the first because the characters can move quicker and to a larger area.
The above reasons prove that FNAF 1 and 2 are very similar. There are some changes to FNAF 2 but they are very small to make the game different. Thus if I had FNAF1 I would not bother to buy FNAF2.
